Flickr Finally Finds Your Friends

  • Flickr is so slow to make progress, maybe they are too cheap to pay the programmers. I am still waiting for the "coming soon" video on Flickr.

    Did they happen to add the ability to notify your contacts?

    Still, it is a wonderful and easy to use picture storage and sharing site. It's much easier to upload all my pics at once, then let the family login to Flickr to check them out.

  • Just a little side-note: one great way to market yourself is to sign-up once a week on a Web 2.0 social network or service that has this feature, and essentially invite everyone. It's a little spammy, but every time I do this (i.e. on Linkedin, Facebook, now Flickr, etc), I get an influx of traffic--it almost makes me wanna buy an email database of tech people lol (hey, u gotta do whatchu gotta do).
