there are definitely more features that jaiku have had rolling for a while. that said, there is a great sense of simplicity at twitter that i prefer.
a big draw is also the popularity. i've been using twitter longer and there are many more others using it compared to jaiku.
plus we can't deny the biggest reason twitter is winning: you can say it to people without having to spell it. pownce???

You definitely have a point there. I just feel Jaiku is a great competitor to twitter and definitely not second best or second rate. And what's so wrong with being second best even though it is the first loser lol
