Very few music web services are safe these days. Imeem is not on the safe side. Over at Techcrunch there’s an article stating that Imeem is being sued by Warner Music and is also having its widgets blocked on Myspace.   • I'd care more about how they do if the album I uploaded to SNOCRAP (Imeem's partner company) made me a plug nickel in sales. As it is technical support is finding it tough to type with where their thumbs are.

    It is an excellent, well-contributed-to service with a very big content base. But you're right, they do have some problems. I look at their 336x280 ads and wonder if that's the extent of their monetization aside from a grasp at eBay. I've never clicked one of their crappy "help th3 skat0r" ads or found anything even remotely tailored to my interests. It's a shame somehow AdSense isn't making better sense of my music list and serving ads that would help imeem out.
  • Imeem is the place to hangout for music. I have been a fan for a few years. I must say the player widget needs an overhaul. Its not as cool as those in this site: http://myflashfetish.com.
