SheGeeks: iPhone Directory Not iPhone Friendly - WTF?

I have been wondering the same thing myself... but a commenter on my blog made an interesting point: Apple wants people to use Safari on the iPhone like "the real Internet in your pocket." By creating iPhone optimized websites, we're essentially admitting that the "real web" might be a little too hard to read and use on such a tiny screen.
And you know -- it's almost never in Apple's best interest to admit they're wrong.
