Hmmmm....this may be an improvement over gridjit , esp . if it can rope in public profile from all social sites ie twtr and fb et al

Interesting. I didn't request an account, but looking at The First Crowd (through a link off of the home page), it appears that it only shows one tweet per twitter user in the crowd? Is that configurable?
