I work for Radar.net, a service for letting your friends know what you are up to in real time using cameraphone pictures and videos. My group of friends can check Radar to see what I am up to, and we can coordinate meeting up in the comments, all from our phones. Check it out and let me know if you have any questions.
I did not realize you could use twitter that way. Every time I have tried search in the last couple of days on twitter it is disabled.
I am currently looking for events in my area, this should help quite a bit. Thanks and nice to meet you.

I also use Twitter Search to find events in my area. My friends and I are using this for quite some time already. We are amazed by how this tool has made searching events easier.

Helpful tips. I used to google for events but not so effective. Must go and check if Twitter can do better.
